Global attitudes database and US migration map

Pew Global Attitudes Project.
Since its inception in 2002, Pew Global Attitudes Project has surveyed more than 240,000 people in 57 countries. This interactive database provides users with the ability to access key trends on questions ranging from attitudes toward the U.S. to people's assessments of their own lives and views about the current state of the world and important issues of the day. These key trends can be accessed by question topic or by country.

Where Americans are moving?
More than 10 million Americans moved from one county to another during 2008. The map below visualizes those moves. Click on any county to see comings and goings: black lines indicate net inward movement, red lines net outward movement.
